The short version: Lucky Draw Kit runs entirely offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data. Everything stays on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Lucky Draw Kit ("the Application"), developed by Pawn X Ventures ("we", "us", "our"), handles information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Lucky Draw Kit is a fully offline desktop application. We want to be explicit about what we do not do:

No personal data collection. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information through the Application.
No participant data collection. Participant lists, names, IDs, and draw results that you enter into the Application are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party.
No analytics or telemetry. The Application does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry software. We do not monitor your usage of the Application.
No network requests. The Application does not make any network requests, API calls, or internet connections during operation.
No cookies. The Application does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The Application stores the following data locally on your device to provide its functionality:

Session data — event configuration, participant lists, prize categories, draw results, and claim status, saved as a JSON file in the application's persistent data directory.
Backup data — a backup copy of the session file for crash recovery.
Audit log — a plain text log file recording draw, redraw, and claim events with timestamps.
License data — an encrypted file storing license activation status. This file does not contain personal information.
Uploaded images — copies of logos, backgrounds, and prize photos you upload, stored in the application's data directory.

All of this data remains on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing the application's data directory or uninstalling the Application.

4. License System & Encryption

The Application uses AES-256-CBC encryption solely for protecting the local license validation file stored on your device. This encryption is used to prevent tampering with the license state and does not involve the encryption of any personal data, participant data, or communications.

No license data, activation data, or device identifiers are transmitted to our servers or any third party. The license system operates entirely offline.

5. Mac App Store

If you download Lucky Draw Kit from the Mac App Store, Apple may collect information related to your download and purchase in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. We do not have access to your Apple ID, payment information, or Apple account details.

For purchases made through the Mac App Store, Apple processes payments and we receive only anonymised transaction data (such as the number of units sold). Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information.

6. Contact Form (Website Only)

If you contact us through the contact form on our website (pawnxventures.com/luckydrawkit), we collect the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties. This data collection is separate from the Application itself.

7. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the Application does not collect any personal data, this concern does not arise from the use of the Application itself.

8. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device and no data is transmitted, the security of your event data depends on the security of your device. We recommend:

Keeping your operating system and device security software up to date.
Using appropriate access controls on the device running the Application during events.
Deleting session data after your event if participant information is sensitive.

9. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store any of your data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. All data created by the Application is under your control on your local device.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. If we make material changes that affect the way data is handled, we will provide notice through the Application or our website.
